9005's in fogs any issues???

Anyone upgrade the 9145's in the oem fogs to 9005? Are they blinding to others? Any damage to wiring, lense, etc.? How long ago did you do it? It sounds like a slight modification is needed to put the 9005's in, I don't see why the 9006's (low beams) at 55W couldn't be slightly modified to fit as well.

Brighter fog lights than a 45W (9145). The 9005's are 65W. There's some vehicles that it seems fine to do this on and others not.
