2.0L 4cyl gas
2.4L 4cyl gas

There is an export 2.0L diesel model as well that is not availabe in the US.

Available in US for 2014:
ENGINE - 2.0L I4 DOHC 16V DUAL VVT ENGINE (ECN)
ENGINE - 2.4L I4 DOHC 16V DUAL VVT ENGINE (ED3)

The Jeeps that have a 6 cylinder engine available are the Grand Cherokee and the Wrangler. The recent Liberty also had a 6 cylinder.

Why not the 2.2 diesel? 210 hp, and 300 plus torque AND over 40mpg's, I would trade in my current pat in a heartbeat.

^ Cause that would make sense 'Circles. Chrysler/Jeep is much like the Air Force (whom I work for)...if it makes sense, they aren't gonna do it.

The cost is much higher for those diesel engines, hence why they didn't offer it for the little, inexpensive Jeeps.

In the 2014 Grand Cherokee, the 5.7L HEMI is a $2300 option. The smaller 3.0L six cylinder diesel (that makes a bit more torque than the HEMI and gets lows 20s in town and high 20s on the highway) is a $4500 option.

Maybe I missed something but my 2012 compass limited has the 2.2 diesel CRD engine with a six speed manual box

For the us, we don't have a diesel for two reasons; demand, emissions. But I would have bought one in a heartbeat. Especially on a fdii.

I'm going to assume you are in Europe...or Australia...or elsewhere cause in the US we do not have the diesels. Possibly Canada and Mexico too? idk
