2011 Compass Limited | Roof Top Tent

Hey everyone - I just went on a 7 day road trip through Washington and had a James Baroud roof top tent installed on my 2011 Compass. Here are some pictures:

I love the Compass. We bought it new in 2011 and have never had any issues with it (knock on wood). The only thing I need to look into is getting some lower profile roof rack bars, the thule make the tent sit so high up. I would like the tent to sit basically right on the side bars.

That looks awesome! Thanks for the post. How does the Thule hold up and fit for you? (other than your comment about being too tall)

I always thought that the Compass had a more useful set up for side rails and crossbars than our Patriot. If I want to take our 15' canoe on a trip I use our 99 XJ Cherokee.

Thanks! The Thule is doing its job, keeping the tent nice and secure on the roof. I just wish it wasn't so tall lol!

Some pictures from this weekend in Stanislaus National Park. We took a bunch of forest roads and it was a great time.
