2008 JK wheels on 2009 Patriot fitment

Hello, I have a 2009 Patriot Sport sitting on bald tires and 5x4.5 rusty steelies.

I have a set of JK stock 17inch 5x5 wheels with some tread life left.

Will Spider trax or other adapters give me the necessary clearance of all steering components? I will mod any pinch seems or inner fenders/bumpers as needed.

The stock wheels on the Patriot are shoehorning me into a terrible selection of tires. The JK wheels would open things up quite a bit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You!
