2008 Jeep Patriot 2.4L | Check Engine Light on, No Codes Show
I have recently purchased a 2008 Jeep Patriot Sport 2.4L that had 101,000+ miles on it.
A couple days after acquiring the vehicle the Check Engine Light came on showing a P0420 code. *Catalytic-Converter*
I Had the catalytic-converter replaced and the light was off, shop advised me to run a bottle of 'cata-clean' so I did.
About 30 miles later the Check Engine Light Came back on, checked to see what Code was showing, showed No Codes.
Disconnected the battery to see if needed to reset itself, Check Engine Light is still on.
Took the Patriot down to my local Firestone Complete AutoCare Center for an Oil Change, they had a note on the invoice that said. "Check Engine Light on Battery Guard-pm" not sure if that means anything or is useful?
I have also replaced the Spark Plugs to see if it would go away, but the Check Engine Light is still on.
...so what is next? Try changing the O2 Senors?
If anyone has had a similar issue or can shed some light on what to try or do next on why the Check Engine Light is on but shows No Codes. Please share your thoughts or own experiences.
Thank you all in advance!
