2008 Compass, Autostick Trans, 4th gear

I got a 2008 Compass Sport North Edition, FWD. It has the 2.4L automatic with CVT Transmission. Sometimes, while using autostick and shifting into 4th gear, the engine will die to about 700 rpm, almost shut off, then pick up again. Anyone else experience this or know what the issue could be?

we had that problem in 1st...took it in; they said there was a "programming issue". they updated the software and it hasn't happened since.
