2007 Compass sunroof leaks
I have a 2007 Jeep Compass that leaks whenever it rains, from the dome light right into the drivers lap. Also, water has accumulated on the floors on the driver side front and back floors. Any suggestions on getting this taken care of?
Just got back our 2015 yesterday, passenger side floor was soaked. There are 2 small drains for the sunroof. Small = frequent clogs. A coworker's son had the same problem with his 2009. You need to clear the drains, but the service adviser didn't tell me the location. Try Google...
- Common sense is on perpetual backorder.
The drain tubes are commonly the cause of sunroof leaks, either being crimped, clogged, or broken. Our '08 Compass leaked the same as yours, and it turned out being the glass needing to be adjusted. The sunroof wasn't sealing shut completely. It was under warranty at the time, so the dealer did it.

Water Leaks At The Front And/Or Rear Roof Area
This bulletin involves inspecting the front and/or rear of the headliner for dampness. If
necessary add additional seam sealer to the roof ditch and replacing the front and/or rear
sunroof drain tubes or grommets.
