100,000 (+) mile service time 08 Pat
It's time to service the crap-mobile since it struck the 100k mark. Aside from needing new ball joints and control arms (again), an O2 sensor, and a new gas cap, I need to make a list of what I should do before winter really sets in.
Service 4x4 system (Never been done, I'll admit neglecting this. My understanding is I just have to suck out the old oil and put new Mopar 80w90 in the center and rear diff)
Flush coolant? Not sure if it calls for it at 100k or if it's really necessary.
Battery probably should be replaced, it's original. I will say that Chrysler batteries of this period last a long time.
Have an awful clunking noise from the front right when going over bumps at slow speed. NOt sure if it's the ball joint issue or if I've got a broken motor mount (sound is similar to a broken MM I had on an 04 Neon)
Should I try to service the "transmission" or as I like to call it, "rubber-band donkey show CVT"? My understanding is it's not really a servicable item but I've heard a lot of folks have done it with mixed results.
