08 Patriot lift kit issues.....

i have the Rocky Road lift on my 08 patriot, and there has been a terrible squeak from the back passenger side, i read of other people having noises, but said they went away with time..... mine haven't, they have gotten worse.
was digging under it just now and found this:

it is the frame side of the rear passenger side upper control arm..... the bushing has "walked" out of the control arm.....

here's the drivers side for reference:

anybody else have this problem??? i'll probably tear into it this weekend and see what is causing it.....

Maybe the arm isn't at a perfert 90 to the bracket? Really, just a guess. I'll be looking mine over in the next couple of weeks, as the snow clears away.

I certainly could have done without the 7" that we got on Friday, but it melted off today...almost. But it did give me a chance to get high centered on the 3' of it piled along side my driveway. Put it in 4WD, took the ESP off and spun it side ways to get off the "drift'. It was fun!

Can't tell right now with the cold weather. I'll let you know when we start getting above 50 consistently. Most who go with the lift kit also go with taller tires, so mine will be with both the lift and 29" tires.

I've got an 08 lifted patriot too. I have been getting this squeak as well. I think it's coming from both left and right in the back; but I am also quite certain it is much stronger on the passenger back side. I took off the wheel today, and made sure all the bolts were nice and tight and not moving around to cause such a squeak. check. However, the squeak is still there. Has anyone figured out how to make it stop? I was thinking maybe greasing it somewhere? But I'm just not too sure where....

Check the rear control arm bushings. They have a tendency to walk out of the arm letting the arm rub on the rear panel.

On a more humbling note. I had a squeak for well over 2 years that eluded my detection. It turned out to be the lift gate panel had popped loose and one of the metal snap in connectors was rubbing on the sheet metal.
