I've got a strange popping sound coming from the front end when making left turns. Anyone else? Is this normal? It is 4x4.

It doesn't sound normal at all. Dealer time? Are you going fast, slow, hard cornering anything like that? I'm just tring to get a better desciption to help later on.

Mostly happens when using meridian turn arounds. A few times when hitting a pot hole. The sound reminds me of a u joint bottoming out

It could be a defective CV/axle joint. Have the dealer take a look and let us know what you find out.

Sure. These are all pieces provided by vendors and parts do fail early sometimes that's why they come with a warranty. Your covered.

Spent 2 1/2 hrs. at dealer. They said everything was tight including lug nuts cv etc. Said they didn't find anything but problem did not happen again. With life time warrenty on drive train guess I'll just wait and see.

Definitely sounds like a joint. Sometimes they get knocked back into place, like my knee did this past weekend after I twisted it playing football.
