08 compass carpet removal

Hello everyone, i have a question. Has anyone on this forum removed the driverside carpet on an 08 compass limited? I seem to either have water leaking or something because my carpet is soaked. Because it is winter i cant do too much right now but the water just keeps freezing and thawing i just dont want any salt to get into there. Any help on removing the carpet is appreciated. Thanks guys!!

Look at the sunroof and/or domelight for a leak source.

Thanks for your reply i had the sunroof fixed after i got the car due to it leaking and dripping out the dome light. I have no water dripping out the dome light anymore but my drivers side carpet is soaked.
