07 Compass brakes issues

Hello All,

My wife is a owner of an 07 Compass and we are having issues with the rear brakes, which was a recall issue from Jeep but they said its not for my VIN.

The passenger rear brakes locks up and damage the rotors several times. I did change the calipers but having the same issues.

When I reverse then brake the car makes a very loud noise.

Can anyone can help with advice or recommend a mechanic?

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I think you are talking about Safety Recall F50. Very few vehicles were actually involved.

The Canadian version:
IMPORTANT

NOTE: This recall applies only to the above vehicles equipped with an ESP/ABS system (sales code BNB, BRF, BRY, BR1 or BR3).

The software programmed into the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) control module on about 5, 900 of the above vehicles may cause the
rear brakes to lock up during certain braking conditions. This could result in a loss of vehicle control and cause a crash without warning.
To correct this condition, the ABS control module must be reprogrammed (flashed).
The V.I.N. range for vehicles involved in this campaign is as follows:
