Checking in on your build, like where it is headed.

How do you like that stubby antenna? What brand?

Don't want to overdo it. Plan on red winch thimble though.

Damn Rampage locking hood latches. Finally got them adjusted where the hood wasn't smashed down on the fender but can't get them to lock. Bent one of the flimsy keys trying. Anyone have a Billet locking cap? I can't even get it to lock, wth?

Wife and I planning on making this an expedition/bugout Jeep vs a rock crawler. I remember when I was a kid I'd drool over the Land Rover brochures I'd order every year and dream about bashing across Africa. Back seat will be coming out and I plan on some type storage in the back. Maybe of light marine plywood if I can't find something ready made. I'm not a hard core survivalist but have lived in countries where we have had to keep a bugout bag handy so I think this will be a fun project.

Theres a few threads of people making a storage space contoured to the back, its also folds down flat when the back seats are down. Maybe an idea for you!

Your Jeep is badass looking and all but that fairlead all painted red like that makes it look like its wearing lip stick with its tongue sticking out.

On a more serious note I wish that hood and front bumper you have was an option when ordering, I would have opted for them in a heartbeat. I think Iíve said it before but if not you have one nice looking Jeep.

I'm a Mylie Cyrus fan, lol! However, I consider it a prick to guide my Jeep.

Hey Zenman - what is your take on these grab bars? I miss the handles on the cage of my TJ and would like to get something like this for the JKU. Strong? In the way at all when getting in/out? Thanks!

Great mod. I think you could hoist the Jeep with them. However, apparently you have to put some umph into it when tightening them. I just found out that the infernal rattle in left pillar was due to it being loose, although it felt pretty tight. Dealer snugged it down and my rattle is gone. It doesn't get in my way but the paracord one does. I just stick my head in between them when getting in. I'm 6' 3". My short wife uses it to get in without any trouble.
