xenon narrow flares installed

I know this is not a tech item so much as a finished product. I just wanted to share. Overall I like these flares much better than stock. Install took about 4-5 hours I would say since I started on Friday night and finished on Saturday. I am not a fan of the instructions on trimming the splash guards. They should include a template of some sort. The lights where easy for me since I had already had done them on my TJ. I improvised a little. If anyone else is going to install these let me know I can give you some pointers. Looks like we need a narrow bumper now!!

Looks great, I did this mod already and get a lot of thumbs up from it. The narrow bumper will look great on there aswell. I got the Smittybilt one, it goes good with the upgraded fenders. Great job!!!

Do want! Very nice, very nice indeed.

Instead of a skinny bumper try one of these, or simply skip the pre-runner and you have an amazingly stout skinny bumper...

I have the full size Xenon fender flares. I had them paint matched by my Jeep dealer.

Lookes good apex, have them myself and like them. The wider tires/wheels, or even spacers for now if you don't have them already will get rid of the infamous flying nun look. Painting the exposed paint area under the flares enhances the appearance as well.

The nicest thing is @full flex and 2.5" of baby lift I can still clear 37s.

I'm not at full flex in the pic below but even at full flex I still have 2+ inches of clearance remaining.

Hit full flex on this trail in a couple of spots with a couple of inches clearance left to clear bigger tires

You'll love having flat fenders...

Sweet Addition

Apexjeepinjoe,

Sweet addition to your rig. A couple questions for you.

What size tires will you be running and what are your thoughts on Bumpers to complement the flares.

I plan on doing a similar mod with the wider flares to cover the 35's we are buying. I was trying to scan through the photo section to see others with the flares and different bumpers.

I was planning on the RR XHD w/ the prerunner but would like to see that set up on someones rig first.

I really like these flares, and the urethane takes a fair amount of abuse. Here are two shots of mine with Shrockworks bumpers, mid on front, stubby rear, to give you some idea of how they look with 35s.

Nice cut on the liners too. Mine are nowhere near as clean a cut.

Thanks for the kind words from everyone. As far as cutting the liners the first one I did on the front driver side is a little off but other than that they came out good.

I like the look of the fenders but hate the way it shows the body and interior wheel well. I don't think I'l ever go to them, unless my wheel/tire choice makes it a necessity.
