Windshield Wipers Won't Turn Off

So I was driving to the mountains Friday night and I was on a dark road so I turned the fog lights on. It started raining so I turned on the wipers. When the rain stopped I turned the wipers off. However, the wipers stayed on intermittently. After playing with it for a bit and turning off the engine, I ended up turning on the wipers, turning on the fog lights, turning off the fog lights, and then turning off the wipers. That worked. Has anyone had anything like this happen to them? I'm curious to know.

I've had a similar problem. Everytime I put on my left turn signal my headlights and wipers would come on. I could fiddle with the lever to get it back to normal. I took it to the dealer and they replaced some module in the steering column.

Now I cannot get it to turn off at all. Time to head to the dealer!

wipers won't turn off

I have the same issue - 09 grand cherokee, wipers stay on intermittently, tried unplugging the battery to reset, but just had to pull the fuse out - guess I have to call the dealer.
