Window switch lights

So, last night, I noticed that the illumination dots on 3 of the 4 power window switches were not working. Does anyone know if this is going to be a little bulb issue, a fuse problem, or something else?

Vehicle is under (extended) warranty, I'm wondering if something like this is going to be covered. I'm not looking forward to trying to fix that myself.

Mine have been out for a while. I have yet to see what the issue is.

They aren't much for LUMEN output anyway, so just learn the switch location by "BRAILE" and no problemo !

I never even look to operate my windows !

The rear switches on my 07 were never lit and there's no opening for the bulb.

What does it matter as long as the windows go up and down when you push on the switch?

It doesn't unless you want the switches lit.

On my 2009 unlimited only the top two switches under the stereo have lights. The two on the back of the center console don't have lights.

There are small bulbs inside the switch, I doubt you can buy them anywhere though. You'll have to replace the switch itself to fix the bulb issue.

So, that would point toward a warranty issue.

Thanks for the info (:

I think only the top 2 are lit, at least it's been that way on mine since it was new.

Possibly but I wouldn't personally consider a bulb burning out as a warranty defect over 5 years later. Did you get them to warranty your headlights or brake lights when they burned out, or replace your brake pads, or change the oil for you under warranty? Stuff wears out, that's not a warranty issue

I would, if it is integrated into the switch and you can't simple replace a bulb.
