butt... we should be able to goto the dealerships and get the speedo readjusted to the tire size anyway, right?

Yes,unless you have leased your jeep,Than I would suggest keaping it the way it is.If your allowed 12,000 miles a year you would be able to put around 14000 mi. with it reading 12k.If you bought it its a none issue.
