Will '07-11 Hard Top Fit '12

Does anybody know if a Freedom Top that fits my '07 JKU can be put on a '12 JKU. Did anything change as far as where the holes are drilled or anything like that?

They are different. For one, the rear lift glass is now wider than previous Jeeps.

The hoop position on the a-pillar is different between the '07 and '10+ models, so that right there might give you issues securing the front panels. I don't believe the shape or hole positions for the "container" portion of the top have changed, though.

Thanks. I have seen some things about clips to make it work? Is that for that issue? Does the window size cause a fitting problem? I guess the question is, can it be used?

I just took a closer look at the rear of my Jeep and perhaps I was wrong about the tops not fitting do to the wider rear lift glass. Although the glass is indeed wider, it appears that the tub opening is still the same as before.

Sorry, canít help you there but there are several members that have both earlier Jeeps and the 2012 so hopefully one of those will take a look and report in.

I'm going to sell my hardtop from my 2008 JKU on Craig's List. Do I understand correctly that it will only fit 2007 to 2009 Unlimiteds? Thanks!

Does anyone know if a ONE piece hardtop from a 2007 Jeep JK (2dr.) will fit a 2012-2013 Jeep JK (2dr.)? Will it fit? Does it require drilling....etc? . Jeep Service parts doesnʻt really know! My Jeep has been there for more than 3 times- Lemon law around the corner, but I want to know IF a ONE piece hardtop (2007) will prevent water leaking.Thank you in advance for any help, lead....etc

The center hoop for the latch on the windshield frame was moved to the left a couple inches starting in 2009.
