Where are the Unlimited Rubicons!!!?

I told a couple of dealerships around here that if they got a Red, 5-spd, Freedom Top, Unlimited Rubicon in, I would be more than interested in pursuing the purchse of one.
That was over a month ago.

Yesterday one of the sales managers told me that everyone is having trouble getting the Unlimited Rubicons in and that they are not shipping for some reason.

Anyone have any info or can confirm this???

i read in a magazine once that the manufacturer of the quick disconects cannot keep up with the demand for the Rubicon. Why it would only affect (if this is the cause) the Unlimiteds, I dont know. Im sure somebody else will chime in soon...

I just got an unlimited 07 Rubi on 12/9/06. Dealer only had two and the other sold the same day. No more coming to dealership for 45 days. Relative working at Chrysler in DT said they are building inventory.

They built the Unlimited Rubicons last so they are the one's that will see a delay if there are shortage's of parts.

There's a Black Unlimited Rubi at my dealer in Crystal Lake as well as a few 2 door... Doesn't seem to be a shortage to me.

I just posted this exact statement in another post...." Honestly, I'm amazed you guys can't find a JK without ordering it. There seems to be alot of them in my territory ... Has your dealer even tried looking for one with your options? Did I just get real lucky with my dealer? (I have to admit my luck sucks, so I am guessing you guys are really OCD)?"

Maybe I'm just wrong here...

There's a few 2-door Ruby's on the lots here but the dealers claim they cannot get the 4-doors. I haven't even seen a 4-door Ruby yet.

I can't find one here in NJ, NY, or PA either. I have been traveling through all three states over the past three weeks and have not even seen a 4 door rubi yet. I looked on some of the largest jeep dealers lots and nothing, not even driving around. WTF send them my way. How about a black 4dr. rubi, freedom top, khaki int., auto, tinted windows, Sirius radio, not that I'm picky but hey someone tell DC to send some to the east coast!!!!
