I would suggest that you spend some time on the forum looking at threads for each question you raise and getting the idea of what others are thinking, as for looks, look at the posted photos in either of the threads of lifted JKs to get an idea of how things will look. I would wear out the stock 32s before buying new tires that only an inch larger IMO. As to your second question about 35s, take a look at the FAQ section on "will it rub?" Most will go with about a 2 inch lift for 35s, either wheel spacers or new wheels with less backspacing, and possibly a re gear to regain performance...

Whatever you want your Jeep to be is where you start. Everyone is different. I started lift and tires. 33" tires, quickly realized I wanted 35's. Didn't waste my time on a "light bar" and got a steel bumper w/ stinger, winch, rear tire carrier, re-gear to 5.13, front locker, diff armor, rock rails, a-pillar lights, adjustable control arms, driveshaft's...etc....I wheeled my ***** pretty tough so I leaned more towards rock crawling mods, function over form.

I would go 15" wheels if you are going with 33's. The costs of new 15" wheels and 33" tires will cost about the same as 33" tires for the 17's alone. As far as looks that's all you buddy. It's like going on an internet forum and asking strangers what you should wear to work, you just don't do it.

You "can" put 35's on a stock Jeep, but if you have 3.21 gearing it will be horrid (new engine or not), you will also need a new tire carrier eventually if you have a 35" spare. It is also advisable to AT LEAST get inner c-gussets to keep them from bending.
