Wheels...Rubicon vs Sahara

So I'm looking at new wheels for my '12 Sport and I was wondering if there are benefits to the 17" Rubis or the 18" Sahara. I'd get aftermarket but I can get a set with tires of each for under $400 each.

If the outside diameter of the tire is constant the 17's will net more sidewall for better flex and squish off pavement.

So you'd go with the rubicons?

Also, tires for a 17" will be cheaper...

I have no clue but look at the prices. Generally comparably sized tires will cost more the larger the rim size. Right before I traded my Ram I was looking for new tires and anything for a 20" was crazy expensive. Even looking for KM2's for the 17" they cost more than the ones I put on my WJ's 16"...

Yeah that's what the guy told me last time I was in there
Never could figure that out. I mean less rubber on a 18" should equal less money
Guess not lol

Get the 17" rubi takeoffs. Excellent tire & wheel.

Are you going to the PNW4WDA Jeep Jamboree in July? Best wheeling event on the west coast imho

Tillamook state forest has a whole slew of roads. Get a forest map.
Plenty of fun stuff.
