wheels for 18 stock sahara tires

I have an 07 sahara with the 18 inch stock tires and wheels. I purchased Gear wheels and was told by the sales guy that they would fit my stock tires. The new wheels are 18 X 9inch, the stock tires are the Bridgestone Dueler p255/70r18. When they installed my tires on the new rims, they look good but more "puffed up" than original?
Ok guys im dumb about wheels and tires. Is it ok to run these tires on these rims?

I dunno what you mean by "puffed up".

But I do want to buy 3 of your stock wheels. How about it?

puffed up, i mean that the side wall sticks out more than it did when it was on the stock rims, i know it is because the new wheels are 1.5 inches wider, but I just didnt know if that would cause them to be less structurally safe?

Where in texas are you? Sure i will sell them, but would rather sel all 5??

Best thing to do is to go to the site for tire manufacturer and look up the stock tire specs. It will tell you min and max rim width recommended.

As for the rims - I only need three. If I have to pay for 2 I don't need, it becomes way too expensive for my purpose, esp. considering shipping costs. But you're welcome to sell me 5 for the price of 3 I guess - and keep the remaining two as a gift (:

255/70-18 tire size is for a 8.5" wide wheel max, so you are 1/2" too wide wheel for the tire, plus I would assume 9" wheel vs the stock 7.5" most the extra width is on the outside of the wheel so they are going to look a little different.

I'm not in Texas.

I've seen people selling a set of 5 Sahara wheels WITH tires for $500. Based on that, I'll offer $150 for three wheels w/o tires.

Well sir, that would actually require me to take the time to "read" all of your posts and quite frankly I can think of better things to do... um, well maybe not today!
