Wheel Adapter Bolt Pattern

So I bought these wheels and tries for my jeep and they ended up being not what I thought I had - ended up being 5 on 5.5 instead of 5 on 5. I have been trying to seel them for weeks to no avail. I am thinking there is some fate in them being mine. Anyways - does anyone know how easy it is getting/installing and using a bolt wheel adapter so the package will work for me? Anyone else tried this? Any forseeable problems?

Thanks in advance.

why kidding? it works for other vehicles and Jeeps. Is the JK such a special vehicle that it won't work?

many here use spacers to pop out the stock wheels a bit, same thing.

NEVER EVER buy an adapter for your tires and take it to the stealership to rotatae. I did and I assume the guy did not use a torque wrench. I went out Saturday night and low and behold all my lugs broke off on my right rear tire. One was holding on for dear life about to fall off along with the wheel.

something to think about- many tires shops (Discount Tires, Firestone) will not touch anything with a spacer or adaptor on. So the only way to get new rubber, balance or rotate, is to take the wheels off yourself and run them to the shop.

Yeah- it is company policy for liability reasons.

Now whether the individual stores abide by company policy or not is open. Some stores ignore the policy, others won't bend the policy for any reason. Unfortunately none in my area are willing to bend the policy. Nor are the Firestones.
