What tire/lift combo gives best stance on a JK 4door

I just got my second 4door want to put a lift on it and 35s I like the rims I have they are dark grey Rubicon rims powder coated I guess- I just not sure what I want to do with the lift. I seen lots of pics of JK with lift and 35s most don't say what type of lift. I just wondering what will give it the best look / stance when i had my tj - I put 33s with a 3.5 inch RE lift look great.

With normal fenders, 3.5". Flat fenders, 2.5". Preferably Metal Cloak, Synergy, or Rock Krawler where they account for having bumpers/armor/winch/etc.

What kind of wheeling do you do?

Here's 3.5" Metalcloak lift, 35" tires and flat fenders, I use all the space above the tires when flexing. you'll need to add spacers behind the wheels to use stock wheels. I run 1.75" spacers so that I end up with 4.5" of backspace.

Agree with this. Really depends if you're going to wheel it, how hard if so.

If you're not going to wheel it or light wheeling, you can get away with 2.5" and factory fenders. For medium to heavy wheeling, you'll want 3.5".

Filthy I get jealous if your rig every time I look at it. I personally like the 3.5 on a 4door

How about a 2.5" lift with a 1inch body lift - any one with that on 35s?
I think the 2.5" inch lift with 35s may be to small of for a good stance.
Pics welcome,

Im going with the pro comp 2.5in stage 1 lift(sitting in garage now) and 35in tires and bushwhacker flat flares and using bump stop spacers included with lift,im a fan of keeping center of gravity as low as possible,i will wheel mine but not hard,i also think it looks cool in this setup,i watched on spike tv "Trucks" couple years ago when they did the Bilstien JK jeep giveaway and it had same setup except they used the AEV 2.5in lift with BW flares and wheeled it pretty good and it looked great driving down road, just my opinion

Best stance is too subjective to answer. I suggest Google various pictures of JKs for ideas and also browse the photo threads here.

We have two JKs and both are on 35s; the 4-door sits a bit higher with a 3.5" lift and the 2-door is our low rider with the 2.5" Rubicon Express setup. Both sit level; no rake or lean and our 4-door always has the top off, so a bit of weight shed as a result.

Absolutely love the look of this Jeep. Is that the full game changer suspension? Also what fenders are those? I really like the fast back top. I almost bought one but got a great deal on a stock soft top. Now I might have to get one....

Thanks! Yes it's the full Game Changer with their shocks. The fenders are Poison Spyder Crushers. I like the extra supports and reinforcement PSC adds behind the body panels. I got lucky and found someone who wanted to do a trade, my stock soft top for a new in box Trek Top NX + $100.
