What are these for?

I have a 2015 Rubicon 2dr and I can't figure what these two hooks on the back of the console are for? Anyone know?

Thanks, Bob

I have something like that in the back of my VW Golf. I hook the handles of plastic shopping bags in the those hooks, to keep the bags from dumping their contents.

In my mom's jk unlimited that is where the rear power window switches are located. Since you have a 2 door it's just something they stuck in there to cover the hole so they didn't have to make a different center consoles for the 2 door and 4 door.

This makes sense now, just a filler, so nothing special then.

I like the idea to hang plastic bags there.

Those are in fact for Grocery bags. Which, I guess, unless you do something else with them... means you own a "Grocery Getter". Your Rubi may have "Mall Rated" on the sides instead of "Trail Rated"...

Cargo control - you can hang the end of a "net bag" there... (mopar sells one - at least they did at one time) unless you opt for power windows and they steal that spot for stupid switches you dont need...(who needs switches without windows or doors?)

Def trash bag holders, or I guess any bag for that matter. Other vehicles come with them. My father-in-law has them on his Toyota.....but i like hat hanger idea...my hat hangs on my 4WD stick

hooks?

sad to say I don't have one (Rubi) but maybe in 2 weeks

anyway, taking a wild guess, could they have anything to do with securing the rear seat when it is folded forward?

or maybe they are to encourage us to read the manual? note the "us'---not sassing you, but smiling at me

Lol - too bad they're upside down...
right up there with the Never Drink From This Side of "the Chalise" skit from Monty Python (Flip Wilson and John Ritter also did it)...
