Replaced the ball joints. The 40's toasted the stocker's pretty quick. 13,000 miles total on the Jeep. First 6,000 where stock, second 6,000 was on 35's, and the last 1,000 on the 40's.

Rancho lower arm skids. Had to beat one of the axle bracket ears back into place just to get the skids on...

Installed some fake beadlocks I had made for my rims to use as rock protection. Hopefully in a few days will install my new CB radio and mounts from Cooltech.

No way, you definitely need some pics to prove it. I don’t suppose that you did the inside too?

I figure for the inside I will just take the top off and air it out
I did however use some Meguires Vinal & Rubber protectant on the flares and bumpers to make them look black again

Jim, how well does that stuff work? Do they actually make them look new, minus the scratches of course, without looking all glossy and whatnot? I’m thinking of trying that too as long as it looks more factory like. I know you talked about doing that last time you were down but just like usual I forgot what you said.

Lubed my AEV tire rack pivot for the first time since I installed it. Also cut off the ends of the front cross member tube on each end of the frame so the upper sway bar links won’t hit them anymore during articulation. Feels good to scratch things off on my to-do list.
