Love the rims, did you have somebody spay the entire think or just the outside? Is this better than powder coating? Did they have to sandblast to remove the existing finish to have those ready to paint?
Sorry for so many questions but I want to do the samething to my rims.

Nooga; both the inside and outside of the rim was sprayed. Prep work was done with scoth brite pads and break cleaner also a rag to wipe and dry. Then they were sprayed with a can of black spray paint primer which looked like a matte black paint which also looked really good. Then we sprayed them with a high gloss single stage implement paint. It's like liquid powdercoat once it's set. I bought three cans of primer and only needed one that was 12 bucks. The rest was all anticanman but I'd say the total cost was somewhere around 40 but we didn't need that whole can of paint either.

Jam86: Thanks! I'm going to start this process in the next few weeks. Going without my Jeep for 4-5 days will be hard, I'll have to plan when I'm going to be gone for a week for work. Much better opion than paying $1200-$1600 for new wheels.

as long as you don't get snow or mud on them you should be OK, I still have to drive mine around if you can go without it then it might be better

Anticanman: Will driving on them affect the curing process? Most likely I will have a local body shop paint them them go and get them mounted. This is great info, thanks to you and Jam86!

Nice shocks. I want some too but they will be a later upgrade. I went trail riding today.

I coerced a tree into assisting me in the removal of my passenger side mirror.

Any thoughts on replacements?

And for the record, I'm probably judging you for your bad grammar or spelling.

Installed my new "Tom Woods" drive shaft on the front! Went for test drive and it works great. Saving money to replace the rear. Then winch, 4:88 gears, G2 chromoley axels, and selectable lockers. Maybe a Atlas II xfer case!!!

What trail is that in CC? OEM replacement might be cheaper online vs. the dealer. Your camera operator was breathing hard after you smacked the tree.

Debadged the Jeep and installed Gorilla splined lug nuts. Black lug nuts look a bit better with the black wheels.
