Since I'm a newbie to JK's, could you explain what this means? And would it be applicable to a 2012 JK? Thanks!

I don't think they changed the mirrors, but can't confirm. You drill a very small hole at the bottom of the mirror so the mirrors drain faster after rain or a car wash. The mirrors tend to fill with water that can take days to dry. Water drips out leaving marks on the door and could cause corrosion over time from being trapped.
There are many threads with picture. Takes 5 minutes to complete.

They are heated and I think electronically adjusted so make sure you aren't drilling through any wiring.

Spent no time at the shop (busy day at the office), so I had to see the end product of a little more progress made...Like the end product, dislike my lack of involvement Test fit before spraying fenders...had to chop the front fender and front of the teraflex rocker so they would fit together:

Brought home a 2011 compass to park next to it in the drive way. Had to trade in the wifes civic for something that can brave the Northern NY winters we are about to face.

Ok so the last few days I added some spridertrax spacers to make room for my 305/60/18 Nitto Terra Grapplers. Doesnt look too bad. Oh yeah the other day I swapped the orange fender lights and front marker lights for tinted ones. Cleans it up a bit. See my pic. I think next is a little lift front and rear. Maybe the Teraflex BB? Any recommendations? thanks

Turned my front bumper into a stubby with a sawall and a angle grinder
And parked on my friend at a car show before I made the bumper!
Agenbroad I have a 2" in the front 1" in the rear terraflex leveling kit and it makes adequate room for my 33x12's

Joeyc- perfect parking job. Your teraflex is exactly what i am looking at. I also have the spider trax spacers which have added to the look and handling. How long you been running them? Any issues so far? I am going to do the budget grill inserts everyone is doing. Why did you paint your grill? You are not the first I have seen. Also I am kind of new to the jeep world, but have been reading a ton on here. Your rims look good too. I really wanted to keep my stockers as they are good looking as they are. Thanks for the info.

Added real lightbulbs to replace the fireflies that it ships with -- Phillips X-Treme Power +80, which is supposed to be 80% brighter than stock with the same power draw.
Was reasonably impressed by how easy it was to get to the lightbulbs compared to most modern cars -- pop some plastic rivets, pull the grill off its lower clips, four screws per side, there you are. One thing clear is that I need a paper owner's manual, though. I downloaded the owner's manual to my iPad but it was a PITA reading how to do this off a screen in sunlight.

I added those bulbs awhile back
Great improvement over stock, make sure you adjust them properly for your lift and load.

Teraflex= had about 3 weeks no off road but love it.
Spacers = had 5-6 weeks used off road a few times only problem I have is the cost.I made my grill inserts from gutter guard from HD, I painted my grill because I thought it would look good. And it does ^_^. The rims were a ***** and don't look good anymore. It was easy for me to do them since no tires were on them... I work in paint correction on cars so they were practically perfect. Till I went off roading and hit some stuff lol...
