This is what happens when your driving with no doors and your phone falls out of your pocket.. lol
I lost a book on cd. It was in a case of twelve cds from the libary. My wife put it on the dash we went around the corner . Out it went luckly we made it around the block and got it before it went down the storm drain.
Gotcha. So what did you gain by adding length to your links? I guess I put longer links up front when I lifted mine, too, but wondering why you needed to lengthen yours out of the blue...
The only lift kit I bought for mine was a 2.5"bb. I moved the rear links to the front and lengthened the fronts to put out back. Since doing a BB, I bought longer shocks, adj. trackbars/arms and longer brake hoses in the front. Then lastly, I added some 3.5" springs which gave me 4" or so total. I needed to add some length to the links since they were limiting droop a little, no need to buy any with this much lift, if you have a welder.
This week will be hard to find the time, but I still need to stop and buy some longer rear brake hoses and lengthen the rear. It flexes pretty decent back there already, but it will be good to get some more. So I have been building the Jeep up while wheeling almost every weekend sometimes in the summer, but did not buy a complete kit.
Nice! Did you use a nutsert style fastener to attach them?
no I tapped the rocker as i had no Stainless steel self cutters or nutserts may change that if it doesn't work well. .on the 2x4 tube i welded bolts in the tube so i could use the holes in the pinch seem. then i drilled and taped the frame and bolted 4"x2"x.25 plates in 3 places and fit 1.25x.120 wall DOM tube between the plate and the 2x4 tubing.
