The 2007 model doesn't have the change oil light. Or the TPMS either.

Took mine to a self service car wash. Felt good to get rid of the winter grime, especially the road salt. First chance to check for any leaks since I bought it recently. None!

Seal Maintenance

Put my freedom panels back on, but first, clean and Sil-Glyde gaskets!

Did my doors too.

That's actually a really good idea. I hadn't given much thought to them drying and cracking, but over time without care, I bet that would definitely happen. I'm going to go pick some of that stuff up this week.

I went to visit her, in the shop, and it is the first that I have seen her without her top on and a door off. I can't wait until the warmer weather gets here.

oh Snap! That's a great reminder! Thanks.

btw... Any adverse reactions that the product could have on organic material like rubber over long-term?

Hey OregonVette, I lifted the idea off a Jeep Forum hard top leaking thread.

The tube reads under applications: brake pads, rubber boots, fan belts, v-belts, weather stripping, trunk seals and bumpers, speedometer cables, window channels, hood strips and pads and rubber gaskets.

On the front of the tube, reads - Brake Parts - prevents pad squeal, eliminates caliper sticking, squeaking fan belts, trunk seals and weather stripping.

Did a Google search on it - seems many from other forums recommend it, but no info on long term use affects on rubber. It is designed for rubber, so should be safe for it (famous last words, I know).

It can get all over, so use sparingly and have rags available to wipe excess.

Not today, but Sunday... Bought it(or as others would say, "stole it"), New 08 Rubicon Unlimited, fully loaded.

1st mod probably sitting on my doorstep right now. Husky floor liners since it didn't come with slush mats.

2nd mod, hopefully getting the U-Connect mic/fix.
