great post 08blue, but... you gotta get rid of those bridgestone slicks!!!
Seriously, when I took my Sahara out for its maiden 4x trip with the family, we almost... and I mean alllmost got buried in muck. I had my wife and two little kids with me. I was like "What? I was in 6" of mud and dammnear didn't come out!" those tires that come oem on the sahara aren't AT's in my opinion... They are more like the tires that come factory equiped for a Camry. Seriously, once I got the MT's on my Jeep... Night and Day
(that being said, I am now actively shopping for recovery & a Hi-Lift right now just incase I get too confident!)

Well, I'm fairly good with tools and I have quite a few, the rear flares were simple and quick

However, the fronts, I almost had to send out for a backup-they're a total PITA, the instructions are a little vaque and getting the SS TORX screws to mate with the threaded clips takes a major alt to the dimensions of the clips and alighnment holes
Turned out beautiful, but Fitting and splash shield modifications are very time consuming
The end result is worth it, but I would'nt do it for a good friend and charge a hell of a lot for anyone else
