Yeah it was more of a "good" this just happened, as a buddy and a few beers saved me a lot of time bolting these things in.

Extra helping hands are ALWAYS welcome in the garage.
How do you like those reservoir shocks?
Looks very sharp, btw.

Thanks dude, yeah I've done almost everything myself with few exceptions so having help is super nice.
I like the the fox reservoirs. They ride good, super stiff to install, but ride very smooth, and have been good when rock crawling. I imagine they would be rough if bombing down a washboard road. I got them as I didn't feel like paying for the Metalcloak shocks cause I knew I wouldn't be able to maximize the up travel with my fender and tire setup. The fox reservoirs allow me to use full up travel possible and have the same down travel as the Metalcloak.

Back on all four tires after the axle swap. Few loose ends to tie up to get her back on the road.

Went wheeling over the weekend. Had a blast...however, too much articulation lead to a flipped front sway bar, which destroyed my end links. Also ripped an ABS sensor apart. Then about 4 miles from my house my transfer case imploded. Good thing I had all my tools with me. Pulled the front driveshaft and made it home safely.

That sucks. I guess now is the time to upgrade though.

Time for quick disconnects.

I have a Rubicon, so I have the auto disconnecting swaybar (with the Evo Manual disconnect knob). My links were just too short, which is surprising as hell since they were made for a 2.5" lift, and I am sitting at 2.5. But I guess the Rock Krawler kit that I used to have (kept the end links from that kit) didn't take into account the super flex ability that MetalCloak springs have.

But youre right, it might be time to upgrade to an anti-rock.

I finally get to add something here. I added halo headlights and daytime running turn signals to my Rubicon.

I installed better hood latches.

I, also, put a hood lock on my baby.

The next projects are adding steps to the sides and a new front bumper.

"That others might live."

Not today but yesterday (father's day)

Pulled mine into the driveway only to find a brand new 2017 JKU sport already occupying my spot! Lifted and w/ new wheels/tires to boot! Paper plates in the back window.

My hopes were dashed when I found out it belongs to my Daughter boyfriend... (he's 17)

Took me 40+ years to get mine, he managed one in just under 12 months...

Kids!

(Fortunately , he's a good kid)

Do you like the tail lights? How was the installation and fit? LED Tailights are on the list for the KühlToys Jeep.
