Well, Last week I installed a CB. Still need to put the PA under the hood.

Mounting antenna onto frame, Had to make a small half circle shim do to the overlapping C channels to create the box frame:

Running coax into the jeep, This is up behind the rear wheel, in the well:

Notched the bumper and made it look all pretty:

CB mounted. can see it perfect from sitting in the seat. Just the righ location/angle. Sound is loud and clear.

08 rubicon / 2dr / 6spd / 3.5" rockkrawler / 1" BL / 36" TSL's / superior rear axle shafts, JE Reel 1350 rear DS / skidrow oil/trans skid / riddler covers / EVO C gussets / RK truss / custom grill gaurd / CB / Herculiner / home brew sliders / plenty of scratches

Got my backup camera installed!

Finally got my backup camera installed. Mounted it on the tire carrier and ran the wiring along the back of it. The image comes up on the MyGig screen automatically when I put it in reverse. Pretty good pic.
I couldn't find a perfect spot to mount it that was centered and my main concern was squeezing into tight parking spots in Portland so I aimed it just behind my hitch ball.

i debadged the front grille, painted A/C vent rings in a gunmetal, installed a home brew mesh grille painted in same gunmetal (pics below), and made my side markers blink as turn signals.

i was reading a $100 mod thread last night...

you can barely tell in a photo that i painted the rings. you can REALLY tell that my jeep is dusty!!

pictures don't really show the gunmetal, but i am really happy with how it turned out.

Played in the mud

This was Saturday actually.

Toy Run event including 4x4 club, Motorcycle club and Corvette club for home for underprivileged kids. First the kids ride in the Corvettes and MC's, then the Fire Department floods a field for the 4x4's take the kids to play in the mud.

I sprayed the JK for 3 hours in the driveway BEFORE I could take it to the car wash.

Even with the BFG A/T's, I never even once felt like it was going to get stuck. We played for about 4 hours, so there was some serious goop and ruts.
