Yeah i needed to redo mine seen as i only used 1.5 od by. 250 wall and it was bent to ****. I also grinded the rod ends flat on each end to bolt flush. I needed a small ammount of misalignment to reduce bind when turning

You live in Boise? Who do you wheel with? Did bucks do your lockers? Have you checked the Idaho section of the forum and trail runs thread?

Got my door hangers from skinny pedal today. Only 8 days since I ordered them- not to bad for ups ground from the other side of the country. Packaging was adequate, customer service felt a little impersonal (non-existent). Other than that's it's pretty nice. It says you can flush mount the door with them but the jk doors are a bit to wide for that.. I wouldn't use them again but I do like the hanger overall. I know this thread isn't for reviews but a couple people were asking about them when I said I ordered.

Thanks for the update, would a 2x4 between the mount and the wall give you enough clearance for JK doors to be flat instead of angled?

Sounds little personal.

A well placed comma would fix that.

Sorry couldn't resist.

I officially have the best father in the whole world! Tomorrow is my 23rd birthday, going to big bear for some birthday wheeling this weekend and guess what just got to my door? A lift and wheel spacers! Good thing I took tomorrow off work, I guess I'm installing new toys!

that would definitely clear it up. I'm not sure if the screws would still hit/have enough bite in the stud at that point though. I'll have to take it off and check tomorrow. On the ordering page it had a box to check if it was for a jk, I checked it but considering the customer service I don't know that I got the right one. Almost positive tj doors would sit flush with the wall on this. Maybe the jk mount is supposed to be longer...? Here's a pic of how they sit as is.

Took mine to the dealership for a free 1,000 mile (since I bought it) check up to make sure fluids are good and see that's there's no trouble. Everything AOK and I got a free coffee mug.

Assuming the mounts use two screw. Make the 2x4 longer and use three screws to mount the 2x4s to the stud and then screw the mounts into the 2x4. Set the mounts on the 2x4 mark the screw holes on the 2x4. Put the screws holding the 2x4 to the stud above and below the hole marks and in between. Should be very secure. If more width is needed use a 2x6 instead of a 2x4 and move the top and bottom screws that go into the stud off center in opposing direction. This will add side to side stability.

LED lights in the front foot wells. Going to try to get the rock lights in soon and maybe add the LEDs to the rear and passenger seats. We'll see. Need to order the bulbs for the dome lights too. Stoked on how it came out. Tapped in to the dome light wire so they work when doors open and any time dome light turns on.
