Bumpers not quite done gotta order some of those shackle mounts that bolt to the frame so I can get rid of those stock hooks and the shovel. Figure out what to do for lighting or come up with something for the stock fogs. And last but certainly not least get some tubing for a big *** stigner.

****ty weather + cell phone = even ****tier pics

Winch will sit either sit on top or Ill build another stubby with sunken winch dunno

I like the look and the shovel up front. I used some channel iron and cut holes for the factory fogs I liked leaving the hooks on for a unique look but totally get what you're saying. This pic is before winch was mounted and lights.

Where did you get those shackle mounts? Bolt on or weld on? I like the look of that

Went to a place here called pacific steel and looked through their scrap and they just so happened to have a couple rounded brackets with holes in them already and welded them on. Teraflex and rancho I think make bolt ons that are legit. And not that expensive. Either that or check metal scrap yards or fab shops in your area. Shouldn't be much I think I paid 10 bucks for all 4 for my front and rear bumper.

Cool I'll check em out. What thickness are they usually 1/2" - 3/4"? Gonna call my metal guy tomorrow for stigner tubing might as well see if he has scraps.

Yeah man great idea mine where probably 3/4 to an inch thick. Pretty much the width of the shackle screw. If anything you could ask them if they have some pieces that thick and to drill or water jet some holes through it. I'm amazed at how cheap it was. I'm in to my front and rear bumpers like maybe 200 dollars in material and just my time. Total custom look, custom to my jeep and sure beat 1100 or so for a rear tire carrier and 3-500 for a front bumper. I will say if I could afford metalcloaks or poison spyders bumpers I'd be all for it. But I'm happy with the results and the built not bought aspect. They are stout and very strong and have saved my jeep in a couple situations already.
