They are 2" mirrors. Can get them anywhere but I got these at Advance Auto Parts. They come with self-adhesive. I thought about going velcro route down the road. The vents are still operational, so no need to really take them off.

Drove 45 minutes out to the "local" tire shop to have my tires mounted (BFG 33x12.50) on the rims I ordered while I was in Afghanistan. Only to find out the rims won't fit they hit the calipers. Had them mounted anyway and ordered rough country 1.5" wheel spacers to take care of the clearance issue. If all goes wheel I'll finally get my wheels on next week. $140 is probably cheaper than shipping them back and waiting for a refund to buy different rims.

Are all those companies paying you to have those sticker on or are you giving them the free advertisement out of the goodness of your heart?

If a part works, and works well, and you're proud of it, why not let other Jeepers know? Isn't that why most of us are here anyways? To share info about this hobby/passion/obsession? You'd be surprised the amount of awesome/fun conversations that start with people asking "Oh I see you have (XX) how do you like it?"

Besides, do you see those stickers? Rad.

Going back to my leaf sprung, rust infused corner now.

Have fun kids. No births. No deaths. No police. That is all.

Cheers

If I could find a way for them to pay me that would be awesome!
Hint hint anybody listening.
We are building a pretty solid 4x4 community here and would love to get sponsors but as of now I'm doing it purely for the look of my rig. I like the rally type look and like my man sparrows said they are always conversation starters when meeting new owners at the very least. I love the go prepared mentality, it coincides with so many other things in my life, teaching scuba and mountaineering. Living the jeep life.
But seriously can I get them to pay me? Haha

Today, I clay barred 75% of my Jeep to remove the self-etching paint with primer that my wife over sprayed. Unfortunately, I did not take a before pic so you could see how absolutely covered my Jeep was. After 3 1/2 hours, I can say I finally got 95% of the paint off and you pretty much have to know its there to find it. Otherwise, you would probably just assume its a little dirty.

Side note: I know it is pretty much common sense, but if you are ever clay barring the hood of a JKUR, or any other hood with lettering or decals, make sure you don't get too close to the vinyl. I got a little too close to the R in RUBICON and it started tearing it off. Whoops... But after 3 hours, I think I was getting a little lazy/sloppy.
