Installed a mesh screen grill thingy. It was cheap, simple and I think looks better.

Also installed a fire extinguisher and holder.

The obvious solution is to trade the Prius in for a soft top Rubicon for me.
Makes sense to me, good luck!

Can't argue with that logic...

I'd suggest turning that around 180. Otherwise, in a collision it will be flying all around the cabin.

I would say trade the wife but that might cost more.

If I ever get in a wreck hard enough to have that thing fly out, I'll be dead anyway so it doesn't matter. It's in there very tight. But I moved it to the lower brace thing, didn't like it up there.

That looks good. Is it DYI or a kit?

Have a few posts coming from this last week and finally done with this weeks projects. Bought my friends beat up Warn xd9000i. Tore it apart and degreased it and got new gaskets, new clutch handle, oring, retainer clips and put it back together. Required some stuff and got it hard wired into the jeep. While it was torn apart also painted it and got hooked up with the factory decals to make it look brand new. Unbelievably stoked on the result. Works perfectly. Synthetic line coming soon.

"New" Warn winch. Also had to refab my bumper to get the winch to fit. I had initially welded the bull bar back to far and the winch didn't sit center on the bumper. Built a fairlead bracket and added some side supports to the bumper to attach to the frame.

Got some semi cheapo lights just to get things moving. They will eventually be replaced with LEDs. Got my a-pillar switch panel and rocker switches and started the install. Painted the jeep 4x4 lettering to match the jeeps other accents. Result is good enough for now.

Everything wired in, Sasquatch lights working. winch power working. 3 pics down the side show
Installed, headlights on, and then rocker switches all turned on. Added a another switch above the rockers that will eventually wire in to the rock lights. This is one of my favorite mods I've done. Rocker switches from Otrattw.

After a refab of the front bumper the rear carrier got some work as well. Moved it closer to the jeep moved the cb antenna to a better location, built 3rd brake light extension bracket, attached my axe to my rack to have a complete set of recovery gear and moved my hi lift to the carrier. So stoked how it came out.

Used it to knock a MR2 off a set of jack stands. Worked really well.
