Wired in external cb speaker. $15 bucks at the truck stop. Needed about a foot extra of speaker cable. Works great.

Changed my diff fluid today. Used Lucas 85-140 in the rear and 80-90 weight in the front. It made a night and day difference

Looks fantastic. What kind of paint did you use? I await a detailed write-up (please).

You might pick up a few inches where the cable enters the tailgate behind the spare tire, pick the closest opening. Also, I ran mine same as yours until the passenger seat, then along the trans and up under the dash.

Looks great - we definitely need a write up and materials list. Does the material help with sound? I suppose it isn't cold enough to tell if it helps with insulating in winter. Well, in MN it's getting cold enough.

Don't think you would have any issues with stock TR - but may have to figure
out the SS - the stock Tie Rod is really flimsy and if you are in that deep with
some new knuckles might as well take care of the TR.

Friday morning left the top down over night. Got a rude awakening at 4:45 in the morning from my mom yelling at me the it was pouring down rain. Well got up and it was. Got out to the jeep and had a 1/2"+ of water in the floorboards. Glad I already had pulled the carpet because the top leaks so bad.

I did something similar with foam insulation board from home deport. I sprayed it and wrapped it in headliner material from the fabric store.

It helps with sound AND insulation. When I was in Colorado in February, the insulated spots were frozen. The other spots had moisture build up. That means the heat was escaping from the Jeep through the non insulated areas and melting the ice.

It was REALLY cool to see. I had just finished the installation a few weeks before going.
