It is best to have the cable without connections in the middle. Those affect the SWR and cause loss of output power.

Headed out to the wildlife refuge with my wife. Sound isn't great. Was raining pretty good.

I'm using the antenna mount for the Teraflex hinge so it runs back and forth across the tailgate. Then I ran it behind the sub along the tub and ends right under the dash beneath the kick panel. I tried it up the roll bar to the front, but agin it would end up right at the dash, short again by a foot or so. Damn unlimited. I had an extra foot when I ran this set up in my two door.

Well I don't have much of a choice. It's either an extension or look for a 20' cable.

Here's pics of mine. Same place through to the kick panel, up the roll bar, by the sub, through the vent on the tailgate.

Yeah, I'm using the Teraflex nount that attaches to the TF Hinge, so add the extra foot going across the door, and viola, 1 foot short.

I made some homemade headliners for the hardtop since it's off the jeep and easier to work on. I also got rid of that white on the inside of the hardtop.
