Finally finished the front bumper today and put the D rings on. Love the look, to me it finally fits me. Next will be the rear bumper install. Once the wallet recovers from the front. Had the rest installed yesterday morning & then drove up to the NY Warrior Dash.
Took the Jeep wheeling at BMRA (Barnwell Mountain Recreation Area) in Gilmer Texas (this even was in fact yesterday)
Great day for wheeling and for July the temps were not that bad in the low/mid 90sF

That thing looks mean man! How do you like that winch? I want a Warn Powerplant, but I'm trying to think of a less expensive, better way to get a winch and on-board air. Seems Warn, Ramsey, Smittybuilt and Super winch are the best options for wince. Arb and Vair for a compressor. But then I'm right back to the price of the Powerplant. Don't know what I'll end up with.
I run a Q9000 and master flow. Both work great. $360 total. I know the master flow is junk from china, but I can buy 4 for the price of the viair. If it was s but closer in price I would have sprung for American made, but not at 4x the price. Shame.

Just enough to get through most of the time,
get stuck sometimes, and still get home
Taking the JKU to the beach with the family for the first time next saturday and got the trouble code U1417. Implausable left wheel distance bla bla bla...
seems from a bit of research that the wheel sensors have a habit of going bad. If it only needs a wheel sensor they are only about $25 and about an hour to install. Keeping my fingers crossed it's the culprit.
Also, got the windows timted. 5% on the rear and 35% on the front, looks great
wish me luck

Drove about 400 miles round-trip to the Miami Dolphins training camp. Pouring rain like a hurricane on the way back. People need to stop driving with their hazards on. It's so irritating! Half of them didn't even have their headlights on!! On the bright side, the Cooper AT3s handled the standing water like a champ!
Got around to installing the bumper today, just need the light bar/ D ring mounts and D rings now. Currently the fog lights are strapped to the inside of the bumper. Im very happy with it, gives the Jeep a much more rugged/aggressive look
Does anyone put the plastic crap back on? I plan on leaving it off
plastic crap I do not plan on putting back on
Wait. I thought the fogs wouldn't mount to bare metal. How did you get yours done? Looks really good.

I passed 35k miles right before I went wheeling(for the first time in my jk), when I went to take it from 4 wheel, I had no resistance in the lever.. Limped home in 4hi, then spent the next 4 hours researching the cause. Found it, spent an hour removing the center console enough to get the linkage back on and take it out of 4 wheel.. At least I can get home from my vacation on time now though haha:/.....
