Finally got to ripping off the air dam today. Went wheeling yesterday and my driver side front tire kept rubbing at full turn. Flipping aggravating. Ordered the Skid Off-road plate to take its place.

I have the JKini. The Freedom top goes on fine. You have the unlatch the front right and left Spider straps so that the clamps will engage. Then you attach the straps to the clamps. Also, you can leave out the two soundbar screws, or you can remove the two straps that use those holes and screw the soundbar screws back in. I'm just leaving them out. All the clamps hold them on just fine. You also need to remove the front middle strap to engage that clamp.

Does this help? I can take pics if you need me to.

Got naked about 80% of the way, still not comfortable having the kids in the back and no doors. Also decided it was a good day to paint the hard top black instead of the ugly white they make them in. Painted the freedom tops a couple weeks ago just the rest yesterday. Also drove an hour north and got caught in my first rain storm without the doors. Fun times

*note the plasti dip in the pictures was NOT used for the top. I painted the top with Krylon fusion paint, the plasti dip was just there from a previous adventure.

*the storm clouds opened up about 2 minutes after that picture was taken and is was a heavy rain.

Over the July 4th weekend I finally had time to install my AEV Tire Carrier. Took my time carving out the rear bumper and tuning the fit. All in all I'm very happy with the results.
