Finally got started on the Nomad.....today was the Currie Antirocks and JKS track bars.

Oh, and even if someone offers them to you for free....run, dont walk away from the Snittybilt SRC Rock Rails....I understand they might be made by Chinas best and brightest 8 yr olds, but they are the most horrendous POS product I've ever seen. The saving grace is that I'm gonna weld the rails to the frame and just cut off the mounting bars.

Installed a set of Nitto Terra Grapplers. I'm using my stock wheels, and not lifting my Jeep. So, I went with 265/70-18's.

Had that happen too! Just pull the carpet out. Leave it out. Best decision I've made! Hose out to clean. It's awesome.

How's the noise level compared to having carpet? That would be my main concern since I drive my 6 month old to and from daycare daily and he currently enjoys the noise level and naps quite well in the jeep.

I noticed no difference with or without carpet.

Just picked this up last week. I had a '99 TJ a few years back and missed the jeep life ever since I sold it. It's good to be back! Debating about selling the wheels and getting 15" steelies with 33" mtr's

I have a 2009 JKU manual. It was definitely louder up front for me. But in my friends JK 2 door automatic it wasn't bad at all. If not right now when they get older and making more of a mess in the car it'll be perfect! I have a 9 year old little boy. Haha swear to god he's dirtier than the jeep after mudding most of the time! Haha

LOL, they are a blessing and a curse. The latches rattle terribly....but for aqbout six months a year they and the spiderwebshade combine for a perfect vehicle. Its made me consider selling my new hardtop (which has been sitting in the garage since an hour after I bought the new jeep.....just no n3eed for a hard top in Vegas.

You have probably done so but maybe re-check the adjustment on the latches. I've had my doors on a 2010 and a 2012, no rattle at all. Just a thought.
Nice Jeep, good job.
