Like your mounting location. Purchased my waterproof dual USB a year ago and was too last to wire through the center console where I wanted it. This may be a good plan B location.

Cheapest install yet. $7 and I can have visibility without wrenching my neck.

I thought about putting it up front for me but my kids need it more then I do. I ran the wires off of the cigarette lighter in the center console.

Just ordered me some synthetic winch line, a poly performance hawse fairlead, a hawse fairlead license plate mount and a winch cover.

It works better than I thought it would. I see the interior obviously a bit more than with an exterior mount mirror but I have great visibility of my blind spot. I'm OK without mirrors but thought I would give this a try. Ill stick with them for sure.

Finally got the doors off. Drove to work this morning and it was fantastic! Hope the weather holds so I can leave the doors off!

Better? It depends on what you want.

If you want a tighter fit, 2 piece, and less shade, then yes. It is better.
