If you use the smaller ones they work just fine, I know, I used them myself.

Bet it does sound bad when you hit your head.

Washed it, removed the wrangler & the unlimited stickers. Added ACE Rock sliders.

(tried to upload pictures - it says they are too large )

Well I bought her. Its an 08' Unlimited sitting on 35's. I owned a 94' YJ for a couple years and had to sell her when I started college due to the hour drive. Glad to be back!

My first 'mod' was installing my gun sling and putting in a mosin. Also, I have the 3 piece hard top and I cant get the passenger or drives side section removed I can get all the clips but the one nearest the back sits on the soundbar/rollover bar is there a trick to get it off? Thanks!

Have you unscrewed the two black knobs in the sound bar? Drivers side top has to come off first.

New Shoes

Traded the stock 255/75/17 BFG MT's for 285/70/17 Cooper A/T3's.

MPG seems to have gone down. Could that be because I had the old tires in the back seat, weighing 300 pounds or so? Or could it be reading wrong until I have the computer re-programmed for new tires? OR, should expect worse MPG with the larger, heavier tires. 2013 automatic with 4.10's if that helps.

Thanks,

Jason

My mileage only changed about .5 less when I went to 305x70x16 setup. My hen when I added a 2.5" rk flex lift it went down another .5 mpg. I did reprogram the speedo after the tire change though. I have a '12 JK.

Believe it or not having tires on/in the back reduces the MPGs some. I just picked up some used 255/75/17 BFG MT T/As this weekend from a friend and had them on the back and I could only average 16-18 on the highway (my '13 JK is still stock). I usually average 18-20 on the highway.
