I used to dread that day with my 08, but finally I decided the hard top isn't necessary in Denver so I sold it.

These JKs really do heat up well and I added heated seats so I'm not worried about the winter without them.

(Now on my YJ and TJ I don't think I could've gone without the hard top.)

people practically give away factory soft tops on Craig's list so after 3 or 4 years I'll be happy to replace it.

Hey ge2, isn't it a bit early to put your lid back on? supposed to get back into the 90's here in Portland. I'll do it around Halloween (that last week of 75 degree weather)...

Yeah I am thinking about selling mine. I had it on for the drive home from the dealership and has been in storage since

I don't think you'll regret it. the money I got for mine ($1400) went towards a new bumper, winch, lift kit and some armor which I'm pretty happy about.

The only thing about soft-top during the winter is snow can really abuse them which shortens the life of the soft top, but like I said they are fairly easy to replace if you keep an eye on craigs list.

Installed the "hands free" mic to the "MyGig" last night! It took all of 20 minutes. Mounted the mic right next to the face of the radio on the left side. Set the mic up through the engineering menu and Viola...I now have hands free!

Very Easy and very cool!

Damn! Nice deal. What did you have on there?

As for jeep... very depressing. Put doors back on and soft top up. After a week w/out either I feel very enclosed. Storm coming next couple of days and I need to drive into the city for a conference so I didn't want to arrive looking like a wet dog.
