Installed a pair of MB Quart 6-1/2" ONYX 2-way Component speakers in Dash. I've read lots of posts about doing so which made it a pretty easy job. The base stereo in the 2010 jk is among the most awful sounding stereo's ive ever heard. These speakers are 200% better than the oem

BFG KM2's, 345/75r16 (36x13).

Everytime I would go out it would rub the frame and sway bar. Extented my steering stops once, but didn't want to lose anymore steering radius. Will test it out at Gulches in 2 weeks, hopefully it'll work.

Nice I've got only 325/65/18 or 33.5 by the page I saw. Not sure of the width though. Seems like I'm rubbing a bit also just haven't been able to find it. The wheels are 18x9 with 5x5 from what I had read that was sufficient to run a wide tire but starting to rethink that.

Your tires are 12.8" wide a 9" wheel is fine, the rubbing would be an issue with the back spacing, a set of spacers should hook you up

Have always been told that spacers are a bad idea.

OK. The weather is getting warmer, so I started with a small mod. Hidden Antenna.

that's the old style that just slide over your existing studs and still use those for the wheel, thus having less threads engaged and more stress on the studs.

example of bad spacers

The good ones, use your existing studs to hold them on and have a 2nd set of studs in them to hold your wheels on.

example of good spacers
