Oh crap, how did that happen? Or if you wish just direct me to where you posted it originally.
No worries! Not certain...but I think it was from a very short overheat on a wheeling trip. My power steering pump seized up and threw the belt, and it overheated for 30-60 seconds. Ever since then, I have had problems with the cooling system aerating. No matter how well I bleed the system, its never fully purged of air, and it blows coolant everywhere.
Started with head gasket and exhaust manifold gaskets. Had the head sent to a machine shop, and it checked out just fine. Moved on to the radiator, and now I'm sucking it up and throwing another engine in. Found a deal on a 10k mile motor

Grill mod. Started it yesterday, and finished the work today. It will go back on the jeep tomorrow. I used the aluminum gutter guards from Lowes. I like the aluminum as an accent on the mostly black jeep (other than JEEP badge and zinc d-ring, and the **** tan color q9000 winch, which came out in black about 2 months after I mounted this one). Anyway, I left the retaining clips on the fender as I drove away, spilling them into the street to get crushed by other cars. Dummy. I think I'll replace them with wall anchors.
Ill post completed and mounted pics tomorrow. I kept the factory bend to the gutter guards which gives it a 3-D look.

Got a lot done this afternoon: ball joints, HD X member, rear axles, bump stops and suspension tune up!
It feels like I am driving a brand new Jeep.
Was getting a lot of death wobble etc.
Had to replace the stock JK ball joints that had gone bad. All total around 9K miles miles on them
with around 4K miles with 37" KM2s - if you are going to go big - you WILL need ball joints.
The lower ones were really bad (that is the one I am shaking in the video):
Heavy Duty X member from PSC - thing is a beast -super HD and fit live a glove on my JK.
Next up was some genuine Rock Krawler 3" bump stops for the rear:
Bump Stops installed:
Ten Factory Chrome Rear Axles:
Tac Weld the retainer bolts...
Out with the old in with the new:
Really is amazing the driving difference with the new ball joints.
Looking fwd to wheeling it next weekend.

I had a truck cargo net laying around from when I had my Roof rack on my old TJ, and Ive been wanting to take my two chocolate labs for rides with buy they are so bad at jumping over the back seat and getting everything muddy, Plus I have the two car seats in the back and I dont want to take them out every time just to take the dogs for a ride, a big PITA.
So much better, now they get to go on rides more often!
This usually means you left the gas cap loose when you got fuel or you have a very large evap leak, but check the gas cap first
I always lock it since the time i noticed my gas cap was missing and i didnt get that message then.but basically I hit up a muddy road in the hills yesterday and when I drove my Jeep this morning to go to the car wash I got that message.
