New tires = Less Mall crawler, More JEEP!

Not a huge change, but I like how much a set of tires changes the feel and look of a Jeep. Those factory street tires had to go, and I found a local JK owner with some super-low mile Rubi take-offs for cheap.

This is 1 week old (decals and bikini top) vs 3 months old (Tube Doors, Lights, lift, Tuffy Deck, tires etc etc)

Those "vampire" connectors will give you issues later on. I like to use connectors that can be sealed from the elements.

Preacher, jeep is coming along nicely, those tires make a pretty big difference in the look of your jeep, even though the same size, still looks awesome.

I am OK with the size for now. Sure, it would look good with 35's (and I have the lift to fit them) but my pocketbook is sure happy with the deal I got on those.

About the only thing I don't have that I want is bumpers.... going to make my own, I think.

I know it is stupid, but I feel better driving down the road and returning waves from those guys with heavily modded Jeeps that I did before.

Not exactly today, but over the weekend I put in a CB radio (amazing that a $40 Cobra 19 costs over $150 to install by the time you buy antenna (firestick), Teraflex mount, wire, and SWR meter). Calibrated antenna and ended up with good readings, only to find that no one around here has a CB. Picked up some distant chatter, but would really like to talk to someone and verify installation.

Also washed and waxed yesterday, peeled off the remaining side stickers and installed a couple of Northridge 4x4 window decals.
