Oh man! Ya we drove by on our way up the hill and people were there with a fire. Came back down a few hours later, fire was pretty good size and nobody there. I can't say I'm surprised. The average person is borderline retarded as it is.

I highly recommend not going that route. Mine was the same originally; ripped tab and bracket off like butter. Upgrade to the weld on HD Poly bracket.

The best part of the day is my 9 year old Aussie has no problems jumping into the floorboard. Was really worried I would have to buy something for him.

I'm finding that nothing will work with my setup. The tie rod is almost 2" higher than stock, and some bracketry at the axle track bar mount poses problems.

I'm going to weld the **** out of the tabs, and gusset them if need be.

I see. Tough space there.

We ended up on top of a ridge, at 11pm, trying to bandaid weld things together, after a moderate tree tap. The ram ripped the whole bracket apart trying to move over an inch. Was crazy

Oh man, yeah that sucks...last time out, when I broke my sector shaft, I learned a nice trick...take a tow strap, secure each end of the strap around each knuckle, and run the strap through the tow point of the vehicle in front of you, so it forms a triangle. With some choicely braking, your vehicle will go just about wherever the tower wants it to.

I'll make sure I weld the living day lights out of it, I appreciate the heads up!

Smart on the tow planning.

Take it easy

Last note. This was mine, rewelded on the trail, for reference. Even tore the trackbar hole open.

That looks nice. I'm looking into lifts now while I'm waiting on my Mickey Thompson Classic lll's(black) to come in. I also have a white unlimited so you give me something to look forward to.

Ah, I see what you mean now. Awesome that's great to see (I mean I'm sure it sucked but you know what I mean). I may go about bracing it a little differently, now. Thanks man!

Picked up a used JK D44 front for $60. Ordered artec truss, 4.88 Yukon gears, Synergy sleeves and poison spyder diff covers. On the hunt for a locker and shafts. Apollo is close to being Apollocon!!
