Went out to buy a pair of shoes and...

I came home with a Jeep!

I had intended on ordering a 07 Rubi 4dr fully loaded, but I drove by the Jeep dealership on Saturday and there sat my exact Jeep, Rescue green and all, except it was a Sahara. I'm going to Tennessee in June and since I probably wouldn't get a Rubi by then, I was too excited not to get the Sahara.

Got quite a few looks from other Jeep drivers, but no waves!?

Anyway, I love it!

Congrats on your purchase! You could have bought 1000 pairs of shoes at Payless, instead you got a JK. Nice choice.

girls don't get a lot waves. it's not your fault. boys are so retarded when we see a girl in a jeep that we suffer synaptic misfires.

congrats on your rig, and welcome.

I wave to them, but rarely get a wave back from them. Probably scared I'll turn around and follow them home. Gotta admit though, that when one FINALLY does wave back, I sure am tempted. Its a turn-on. Haha

Keep waving Messedupgirl. You probably just surprise most of us and we finally figure it out and wave back after you've passed us and we are out of sight.

ps - Welcome to the forum and Jeeps.

pss - Pictures of you and Jeep. :-)

Yea, Jeep owners dont like us.....Give it some time to get a little respect. I think this Jeep will surprise alot as new features come out. Plus, a 4 door Jeep Wrangler? Weird. i love it! Even though I got the 2dr. I love it better and I like doing the upgrades myself. It gives you better options, I think anyway. Id like to see pics of your new shoes in the mud!

I imagine it looks just like any other rescue green Sahara, since she just got it and probably has not applied any mods yet.

woah, sounds like something that happens to me...

oh yeah, to the OP. I thought it was bad when I got to the store for milk, and come home with $100 in groceries.

Thanks everyone!

Yeah, it looks like a standard rescue green 4dr Sahara. No mods yet. I actually have to bring it back in to the dealership. On the back of the hard top, they did a lousy job masking and there are bare spots where the tape was. The service manager is sending a bunch of photos and VIN to Chrysler so maybe they'll fire someone.

Still no waves but I've gotten quite a few compliments. But when I brought it in for the photos, almost everyone in the building came over to see it.

The nav system will come in handy on the way to Tennessee.
